It really makes me upset to realize that most of Bon Iver’s fan base are  unaware that Justin Vernon has had many others acts before the birth of Bon Iver.

This one is from an album titled Feels Like Home he released as “JD Vernon” back in 2001.

I really hope you enjoy it and  that it ignites some interest to look into other releases by Justin!

This track is off Dog & Panther’s sophomore album, Our Bodies.  I honestly had never heard of these guys until last week, but I have become a quick fan.  This trio takes elements of folk, pop, and electronic to generate an amazing sound.  If Bon Iver and James Blake had a child and sent that child off to be raised by Mumford & Sons, that child would grow up to be Dog & Panther.  Aren’t you intrigued?
